- You will play a vital role in driving innovation and growth in battery protection applications, leveraging your technical expertise to develop and support cutting-edge solutions for a range of industries. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work at the forefront of technology, collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to push the boundaries of MOSFET technology and shape the future of motor drive systems.
- Support medium voltage Battery Protection Switch application with focus on MOSFET as protection switch (48VDC-400VDC) for various industries, such as BBU, UPS, LEV BMS system and other similar applications in GC and Asia Pacific
- Capture the requirements for new MOSFET technology to best fit application needs
- Engage with customers through on-site visits, technical training, and cooperation projects to drive design-in activities and problem-solving
- Actively participate in R&D projects to bring in application perspective and ensure the best product fits the application
- Own the data sheet creation and maintenance
- Drive technical Go-to-Market activities, including bench measurements, creating digital content, publish papers and documents, perform system simulations to secure design-win
- Provide 2nd level technical support to field application engineers and customers on application level with system simulations, and hardware builds
- A university or university of applied sciences degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, Physics or comparable, ideally with focus on power electronics and MCU firmware
- At least 3 years of working experience in the semiconductor or power electronics industry
- System understanding and a background in battery management and protection systems
- Solid understanding of medium voltage MOSFETs (80-400V)
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g. Simetrics, LTSpice, Simulink) and math calculation tools (e.g. Matlab, Excel), Programming skills (e.g. embedded programming for MCUs, C#, Python, FPGA programming)
- Experience with lab measurements operating scopes, DVM, power analyzers, but also soldering and assembling prototype board
- Fluency in English
- Good communication and presentation skills
