- Responsible for leading the tactical execution of day-to-day activities to deliver products and services to markets & owners whilst optimizing the response to operational realities, including ERP/SAP system updates that support the inter-company flow aligned with the movement of goods, operational collection/delivery coordination, creation of outbound orders and generation of documents required for export.
- Leads and deploys the operational multi-modal shipping processes required for movement of goods from CMs to the end market, including domestic shipments and export of goods to global markets utilising shipments via road, ocean and air to meet business needs.
- Create, collate and distribute shipping documentation to all logistics partners to enable successful on-time collection, shipment and delivery of goods.
- Act as the key liaison between Contract Manufacturer, warehouse and 3PLs to manage all operational milestones for shipments throughout the end-to-end logistics flow at PO line level, from shipment booking at origin up until final delivery to market warehouse.
- Ensure 3PL, contract manufacturing providers performance, volumes and timeline goals are met by utilizing systems, tools and standard operating procedures to meet KPI service performance.
- Responsible for determining capacity utilization requirements to plan at a PO line level to a synchronized shipment plan which is provided to Freight and Transport in securing sufficient capacity and containers with 3PL partners to the ship week requirement.
- Responsible for shipped in-full and on-time performance for each PO line / order.
- Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for service / operational failures.
- Supports Global Logistics Excellence best-practice promotion and adopts value-add practices to constantly drive business process improvement.
- Ensure all 3PL, contract manufactures comply with Dyson governance standards that meet visibility, service, and cost requirements.
- Ensuring all data exchanges (ASN-Advance shipment Notice) information received from a contract manufacturer is on-time, accurate and complete and ensures correct data upload to Dyson's ERP system.
- Escalate any incorrect data points, or missing information by identifying the root cause, and works cross-functionally to ensure improvement measures are captured and put in action to resolve manual intervention.
- Ensures efficient and effective collaboration cross functional teams, Contract Manufacturing and 3PL service providers.
- Monitors global standard KPIs that measure and track suppliers performance, working in close collaboration with Dyson Logistics Performance management to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensures alignment internally and with contract manufacturers and 3PLs on standards and operating procedures.
- Ensure appropriate approvals for scrap declaration and reporting to customs authorities are done for tools, equipment's, machines, prototypes, materials. Coordinate with engineers, facilities, security team.
- Ensure permits are secured prior to imports, coordinate with engineers and related Other Gov't Agencies example e.g. SICIT - safety, GACC, CNAS & MOFCOM.
- Ensure good document reporting and filing archiving and retrieval process are maintain archived following the document retention process.

- Strong ability in MS Excel and experience in handling large and complex data sets associated to shipment of goods on a global scale.
- Has a strong working knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain, with a clarity for understanding the importance and interdependencies associated with each stage of the process - Plan, Source, Make, Deliver.
- Skilled in handling all aspects of shipping and documentation required for import/export of goods to global markets.
- 3 to 5+ years' operational logistics and shipping experience in relevant industries.
- Has a strong working knowledge of manufacturing, warehouse, transportation, distribution and import/export management.
- Proactive leadership qualities and positive core values.
- Excellent level of written and spoken English.
