- Support the Automotive Vertical Manager in developing and executing sales strategies specific to Electric Vehicle (EV) clients within China
- Drive business development efforts in the EV segment by identifying potential customers, following up on leads, and supporting conversion of pipeline opportunities
- Collaborate with local and regional sales teams to pursue EV-related accounts, providing subject matter insight and industry-specific solution input
- Manage day-to-day customer engagement for assigned EV accounts, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring continuity across supply chain needs
- Coordinate closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure service excellence, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction for EV clients
- Prepare commercial offers, RFQs, and customer proposals under the direction of the Automotive Vertical Manager, ensuring alignment with Röhlig's product capabilities
- Monitor EV industry trends-including local production shifts, battery manufacturing, and policy changes-to identify short- and mid-term business opportunities
- Support regular reporting on EV performance within the vertical, including sales activities, pipeline status, and customer development metrics
- Participate in local trade shows, industry forums, or customer meetings to enhance Röhlig's visibility in the EV sector and strengthen the company's positioning
- Ensure CRM and other sales systems are accurately maintained for tracking, analysis, and planning purposes
- Follow the superior's instructions and implement policies
- Report any special occasions to a superior on time
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time
- 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or business development role within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Exposure to EV-related or industrial sector clients is preferred; passion for customer engagement and growing technical accounts is essential
- General understanding of logistics and freight forwarding products, including Air, Sea, Warehousing, and Contract Logistics
- Ability to understand customer supply chain needs and support solution development in collaboration with senior sales or product teams
- Experience working with MNC clients, with the ability to support tender processes, pricing requests, and customer presentations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage mid-level stakeholders and internal teams
- Comfortable working in a matrix or cross-functional environment, coordinating with both local and overseas teams
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage follow-ups, prepare proposals, and keep CRM/sales systems updated
