- Manage administrative tasks
- Develop student learning plans to ensure academic progress and success
- Arrange and conduct at least two parent-teacher meetings per school year to foster effective communication between parents and faculty
- Regularly send feedback letters to parents to keep them informed about their children's academic performance and progress
- Assist students in their university job applications to support their future career endeavors
- Coordinate the activities of foreign teachers, including organizing regular training and staff meetings for them
- Observe classes at least twice per semester to ensure the quality of teaching by foreign teachers
- Organize student activities and collaborate with Sino-American projects to celebrate festivals with Chinese characteristics, such as Halloween and Christmas
- Assist with the recruitment publicity and arrange freshman entrance tests
- Take responsibility for teaching at least 1-2 courses to actively contribute to the academic program
- Collaborate with school's activities to promote a harmonious educational environment
- Qualified as a principal recognized by the BC Department of Education
- Past work experience as principal or vice principal
- Proficient in using office software and able to use or learn multimedia devices quickly
- Excellent human relationship skills
- Deep understanding of Chinese and Western culture
- Demonstrated ability to plan and implement
