
Food Safety Auditor - Part time

- Conduct food safety audits.
- Summarize and evaluate inspection/audit findings.
- Communicate findings/results of inspections/audits with client site management or appropriate client personnel.
- Develop effective work plans for the completion of assigned inspections/audits within a determined timeframe.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with headquarter based project managers as it relates to assigned clients.
- A degree in a food related or bio-science discipline or equivalent.
- 5-10 years food manufacturing/QA experience related to GMP HACCP or higher food safety system standards or at least 3 years auditing experience
- Successfully completed a recognized training in auditing techniques based on QMS or FSMS. Duration 1 week/40 hrs equivalent.
- Must have knowledge of relevant legislative requirements and an understanding of quality assurance, quality management and HACCP Principles.
- Ability to work independently in remote locations.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
