- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, Rust).
- 3 years of experience in Research and Development (R&D) for wireless communication system, such as LTE or 5G.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in wireless R&D, with technical understanding in the 3GPP related areas: MIMO, downlink control, uplink control, initial access, Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), or Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN).
- Experience in 3GPP related simulation (e.g., link level simulation or system level simulation).
- Experience in attending 3GPP working group (i.e., RAN1/RAN2/RAN4) meetings.
- Experience in acting as a feature lead for 3GPP RAN1/RAN2/RAN4 related features.
- Serve as a key delegate in 3GPP Radio Access Network (RAN1) working group. Author and present the technical contributions and Change Requests (CRs).
- Conduct link-level or system-level simulations and theoretical analysis to evaluate new features for 6G. Identify and protect concepts by filing Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) that strengthen Google’s intellectual property portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal product teams (Android, Pixel) to translate standard developments into product road maps.
