Hypebeast is a leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle, and a premier destination for editorially-driven news and commerce. Founded in 2005, it became a publicly listed media company in 2016, and today boasts a global readership across North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and more. The Group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope, encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms, creative agency Hypemaker, and e-commerce and retail platform HBX.We are looking for an intern to join our Media Team. The Design Intern will work closely with our in-house designers and Creative Director of Media to build compelling visual ideas and executions for our branded content.Responsibilities:

Brainstorm relevant content and design ideas for HYPEBEAST.
Research and compile design work and content executions from around the internet and social media.
Look for suitable and inspiring references for different creative ideas.
Create mood boards, mock-ups and decks.
Assist in creating various visual assets, especially content layout designs for editorial and social channels.
Work closely with the Creative Team, the Editorial Team and the Sales Team to uphold the content standards of the HYPEBEAST brand.

Requirements:

A recent graduate of bachelor's degree in art, design, visual communications, marketing, or currently enrolled in a college or university.
High proficiency in spoken and written English as well as a native speaker in Mandarin.
At least basic experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and other creative tools.
Be highly creative and knowledgeable in different fields of aesthetic.
Passionate about youth culture, fashion, sneakers, and other verticals covered by HYPEBEAST.
Ability to work independently and not be afraid of providing solutions when there is a problem.
AI, Illustration, motion graphic, animation, 3D rendering knowledge is a plus.
Available to intern from Mon - Fri (10am to 7pm) for a 3 months period.
