- Follow site and corporate the procedure and execute relevant work safely.
- Be in charge of site troubleshooting, develop the maintenance plan for instrument discipline, respond and fix the problem timely.
- Respond to tasks as directed by line manager with the appropriate sense of urgency to minimize impact to process units
- Support instrument engineer to define proactive maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, failure finding), improve instrument reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis on routine instrument failures, develop corrective actions and track results.
- Develop and update the SMP, and provide training to the technicians for instrument discipline.
- Manage the preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM) system and ensure instrument systems are functioning properly. And also ensure that all instruments are properly calibrated and documented in accordance with regulations and corporate requirements.
- Support outage and turnaround work related to instrument discipline.
- Support instrument execute team to do Pre-task plan and JSA in daily work.
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in automation/electrical engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as I&E engineer in large manufacturing plants.
- Use of a Root Cause Analysis methodology and tools.
- Familiar with relevant industry standards and codes, such as API, ISA, & NFPA
- Familiar with SIS, DCS, PLC system, and HART, FF, ASi fieldbus protocal.
- Deep knowledge of process plant instrumentation.
- Have the experience for powder packing equipment.
- Have good English writing and prefer oral English skills.
- Have experience with SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel system.
- Good communication skills.
