We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Formulation Research & Innovation Associate Director to lead our formulation team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving early formulation innovations and providing expert support for product launching formulation. The successful candidate will lead a team of over 10 members, collaborating cross-functionally to bring groundbreaking skincare solutions to market.1. Strategic Leadership:

Provide strategic direction and leadership for the formulation team, aligning with company objectives and market trends.
Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies, ingredients, and trends in skincare formulation.

2. Formulation Development:

Lead the development of new skincare formulations from concept to commercialization, ensuring superior product performance and efficacy.
Oversee the optimization of existing formulations to enhance product performance and meet regulatory requirements.

3. Team Management:

Manage and mentor a diverse team of formulation scientists and researchers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Set clear goals and objectives for team members, providing regular feedback and coaching to support their professional growth and development.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with other departments, including R&D, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure alignment on project timelines, objectives, and deliverables.
Partner with external vendors and suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and materials for formulation development.

5. Project Management:

Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges in formulation development, implementing effective solutions to drive project success.

PhD or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
Must speaks fluent Chinese.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in skincare formulation development, with a strong track record of success in in leadership.
Deep knowledge of skincare ingredients, formulation technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to drive innovation and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and inspire team members.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and adapt to changing priorities.
