- Meet targets for sales and market share in terms of Mobile and Static Crushing and Screening plant and parts for the geography.
- New business development including sales and marketing strategies for the geography and Major account
- Determine and implement required routes to market including direct sales as well as potential distributor identification, appointment and development.
- Communicate and train customers and distributors on the features and benefits of equipment.
- Develop new end user sales leads for Powerscreen and access existing crushing and screening equipment customers.
- Establish sales forecasts and secure sales orders according to goals.
- Control expenses in line with agreed budget.
- Educate end users on products, service, warranties, and technical support.
- Ensure that customers have access to parts personnel, field service and other Terex team members as necessary.
- Demonstrate proper techniques of prospecting sales leads, telemarketing, wholesale and rental closing techniques, and quotation and specification writing.
- Receive feedback on existing products and services, as well as changes, enhancements and new product opportunities.
- Maintain overall management of the sales process to the end user.
- Participate in key industry associations.
- A degree in business or engineering discipline would be desirable.
- Mandarin speaker with business preliminary English capability, both written and spoken.
- A proven track record in the selling or application of crushing and screening equipment in the Quarry, Mining or Sand and Gravel markets or other construction or capital equipment markets.
- Proven sales growth record.
- Experience of managing a diverse customer base.
- Candidates must have a valid driving licence and passport.
- Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive in New Business Development and the ability to gain new customers.
- Willing to accept change, manage priorities, and provide the necessary and timely commitments to ensure company success.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple sources of data and prioritise issues towards a singular goal.
- Self-starter and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must possess the ability and commitment to teamwork across a functional environment.
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners.
- Proactive thinking and ability to lead through initiative.
- Familiarity with, ability to, and willingness to, work safely on-site in industrial crushing and screening settings, on and around crushing and screening equipment.
- Demonstrates an understanding and support of company policies and procedures.
