We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer
Business: IWPB TechnologyPrincipal responsibilities

Being the key enabler for the team based on China to manage services for Managed Solution SVS
Promote the best technology to improve user experience in mobile journey.
Understand and clarify functional requirements and create detail technical design for developers
Conduct necessary code review to ensure high coding standard quality and programming principles are achieved
Conduct technical spike and PoC for new technologies
Design and develop application on mobile journey.
Lead or assist the architecture team to provide business & technical solution fit for business need.
Leading and coach new developer to meet the delivery goal and meet the delivery metrics.
Adopt the best technical design pattern into coding and improve the flexibility of the code and application.
Ensure the appropriate support model is established, which may include 3rd party providers.
Ensure problem resolution within agreed timeline
Ensure appropriate business system access controls are in place.
Support China delivery team capability uplift
Support/participate in department management and strategic initiatives

Requirements

Align with DevOps and Agile delivery approach, tooling and practices adoption
Follow the delivery control guideline required by HSBC
Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met
Support programme manager to meet the timeline and financial goals
Domain knowledge on Financial products
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Good English communication skill
A minimum of 6 years' IT software development experiences, strong technical knowledge and experience in web development
Hand-on experience Java, Spring, J2EE and SQL technologies, and passion on new technologies
Experienced in Spring and Java 8 or above; and in particular Spring Boot, Spring Boot Cloud, and Micro Services
Experienced in micro frameworks
Excel at JavaScript (ES5, ES6), HTML5, CSS3
Experience with RESTful API design and development
Experienced in AWS and Cloud certifications would be a plus
Experience in Global Private Banking IT and in business management domain would be a plus
Experience on IT service management as ITSO is a plus.

Nice to have:

Professional certifications on cloud / technical or project management domains
Experience of Private Banking and investment service is a value added
