Job Summary
  • We are seeking skilled and driven Data Analyst to join our team in China. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in data discovery, business analytics and dashboard development, with hands-on experience in Python, SQL and SAS. A background in banking analytics and familiarity with data engineering concepts will be a strong advantage. Proficiency in English is required to support cross-border collaboration.
Business
  • Perform data discovery and analysis to uncover insights that drive business decisions
  • Collaborate with Technology Partners to build unified datamarts (in datalake) to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using MicroStrategy or Power BI
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Extract, Transform and Analyze data from various systems using Python, SQL and SAS
  • Support implementation and monitoring of analytics use cases in SME Banking domain
  • Liaise with global & regional teams to support data and reporting initiatives.
  • Conduct business performance analysis, customer segmentation and campaign analysis.

Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Statistics , computer science , Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in banking or financial services sector , as a data analyst. (1 FTE
5 years , and 1 FTE
8 years and ability to lead).
  • Strong programming and analytical skills , using Python, SQL and SAS
  • Solid understanding of business analytics and KPIs in financial services
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
