Your RoleAs a Gensler Design Manager, you will leverage your experience in interiors, your attention to detail, and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional client projects on time and on budget. You will deploy resources to ensure that the work process flows smoothly and act as the primary liaison between the team and client. This role will based in Hong Kong S.A.R..What You Will DoGrow existing client relationships, develop new client relationships, solve client problemsImplement multiple client projects through the leadership of project teams: Provide leadership to clients and teams by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms and scheduleManage scheduling, budgets, staffing, and project set-up with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and contractorsPrepare project proposals and negotiate contracts and feesTrack and manage the financial performance of projects for success (e.g., work plan, schedule, fees, change orders, billings and collections)Manage the full project lifecycle; estimating, bidding, project kick-off, weekly coordination, and project close-outYour QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field10 years+ of successful project experience in global service corporate interiorsExtensive knowledge of interior principles/practices especially in Hong Kong and ChinaGood leadership capability and collaboration as a teamStrong ability in managing fees, schedules and staffingProfessional license or certification, a plusExperience working with marketing, developing proposalsGood business development skills and ability to develop a networkExcellent communication skill (both written and spoken) English, Cantonese and MandarinExperience with project management software, such as MS Project, a plusWorking knowledge of Adobe Suites, AutoCAD, Revit a plusAble to travel upon requestLife at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
