  • Operate forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack) in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, stack, and move materials, products, and equipment.
  • Perform daily pre-operation safety checks on forklifts and report any defects or maintenance needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely movement of goods to and from designated storage areas, production lines, and shipping/receiving docks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies, including those related to material handling and equipment operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles are clear and materials are stored correctly.
  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials moved.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments regarding material flow and any potential issues.
  • Adhere to all quality control standards and procedures.
  • May be required to perform other general warehouse duties as needed.
Job Qualifications**
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification/license is required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating various types of forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety instructions, and shipping documents.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
