These services include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, marketing, and customer service functions. Our daily focus is on mobile app development, API development, pipeline development and maintenance, as well as maintaining AWS infrastructure.About your role
As a Senior Software Engineer specialising in React Native mobile development, you will collaborate with teams across HK, UK, India, and Dalian to deliver high-quality mobile applications. You will interact with local business and technology teams to ensure the applications meet specific regional business and technology needs.About youThe position is for a seasoned Technical Lead with expertise in React Native mobile development. The ideal candidate should possess advanced skills in mobile application development and be adept at implementing complex business logic using React Native and associated technologies.In this leadership role, you will provide strategic technical oversight and guidance on mobile application architecture and design. You will collaborate closely with the project lead to develop and sustain a prioritised development roadmap for mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards. Additionally, you will mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and design of mobile application solutions using React Native, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
Design and implement high-performance systems that support large volumes of user interactions and real-time data processing.
Develop mobile application architecture solutions focused on scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and responsiveness.
Ensure the application of best practices for mobile app security and the protection of user data.

Experience and Qualifications RequiredEssential Skills and Experience

Fluent English
5+ years of experience in mobile application development. Experience with React Native is preferred, but candidates with expertise in other mobile development technologies will also be considered.
Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiar with mobile UI/UX design principles
Experience with native module integration in React Native
Proficient in state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Context API
Experience with deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Familiarity with cross-platform compatibility and performance optimisation techniques
Strong understanding of Git for version control

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience in Investment Management
Experience working with globally distributed development teams
