  • Roche Accelerator is the first in-house accelerator globally, representing Roche’s long-term commitment to Shanghai and China. Roche Accelerator strengthens the collaboration with local partners and plays a key part in the local innovation ecosystem. We aim to attract entrepreneurs in the areas of pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and personalised healthcare (PHC) including artificial intelligence (AI) and digital solutions
  • Portfolio and Project Management monitors the progress of a vibrant and dynamic portfolio start-ups, matches Roche in-house expertise and resources to portfolio needs, and ensures successful delivery of research collaboration projects
Responsibilities
  • Support Business Development on establishing and maintaining the alliance with portfolio companies to ensure effective and efficient communications and alignment
  • Manage existing external collaboration projects between CICoR and portfolio companies, coordinate project team meetings, keep track of study timeline and milestone deliverables
  • Closely monitor the scientific and pipeline progress of portfolio companies, act as Roche point-of-contact to capture and match their need for scientific and business support and guidance with relevant in-house scientists and experts
Qualification and Experience
  • A master or PhD candidate in a healthcare field required
  • Prior experience in pharma industry or life science research preferred
  • Strong interest in combining research and development with business development
  • Understanding of Roche research and development practice, standards, portfolio focus and functions across different divisions would be advantageous but not compulsory
  • Fluent in Chinese and English
