We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher for an international school in Beijing starting from the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.About the schoolLocated in Chaoyang District, Beijing, this international school offers a Montessori-based program for children aged 18 months to 13 years. Through hands-on, inquiry-driven learning, students develop independence, curiosity, and critical thinking. Families can choose between a dual-language (English-Chinese) or English-only track, both supported by small class sizes and a strong focus on character development in a multicultural environment.Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Mathematics (and preferably Science) to students in secondary aligned with curriculum standards
  • Integrate real-world applications and critical thinking into lessons
  • Design lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials
  • Track student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate academic records and reports
  • Support students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction
  • Communicate regularly with parents about student progress
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance interdisciplinary learning
Requirements
  • Master's degree or above in Mathematics, Science, or Education.
  • Minimum 3 years of high school teaching experience
  • AP/IB teaching certificate or experience required
  • Native-level English proficiency
  • Eligible for a China work visa (school will assist in processing)
Salary and benefits
  • Monthly salary of RMB 28,000 - 35,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Monthly housing allowance of RMB 10,000
  • Flight Allowance: Round-trip airfare up to RMB 10,000/year
  • Mobilization Allowance: RMB 1,000 - 5,000
