Today, we're driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.Here, what you do matters.Job Overview:The Principal Materials Tech is responsible to process information into and out of the Materials Management System, Smart Materials (SMat), in order to capture the module shop activities. This role is intended to support the project's overall Materials Management team by keeping SMat accurate and up to date. This is a specialized role that requires knowledge of multiple modules of SMat.Responsibilities:Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Understand the purchase order agreement as related to material delivery
Prepare the receiving package for the receipt of materials
Joint receipt of materials with shop personnel
Generate the Material Receiving Report in SMat
Log, report, and help action any over, short, or damaged material (OS&Ds)
Process the warehouse material requests and generate the pick tickets for the release of material
Ensure that all pick tickets are returned and processed in SMat
Ensure that all required steps per company procedure (Unifi) are properly logged (MRR status, pick ticket status…)
Ensure that all completed work is loaded in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Run material forecasts to support construction work planning
Generate SMat and custom reports, as necessary
Oversight of shop practices and procedures that may affect any project material (storage, segregation, allocation, etc.)
Lead meetings with shop and project personnel to provide updates on status and progress

Qualifications:Essential Qualification and Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience in Materials Management within the oil & gas industry preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Proficiency in materials management systems; Smart Materials experience preferred
Typically has 5-10 years in Engineering, Materials Management, and/or Construction within the oil & gas industry
