Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionThe Enablement Specialist brings structured thinking, facilitation, execution, and focus to procurement enabling and functional capabilities such as analytics, operations and governance, and strategic projects (See appendix for capability specific details). Using their specialized knowledge or expertise in a capability area and general procurement, the role proactively identifies and drives strategies and approaches that positively impact capability and functional goals.The Enablement Specialist collaborates with internal procurement, finance, and other relevant
colleagues to understand needs and gather feedback to develop, enhance, or deploy functional
enabling services and solutions that increase procurement's effectiveness and efficiency.
The Enablement Specialist works closely with other team members to align on requirements, develop, validate, and deploy services, solutions, and frameworks to the broader procurement function.Core Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe Enablement Specialist will play a variety of roles according to their experience, knowledge, and
general business requirements, including but not limited to:
  • - Domain knowledge or subject matter specialist providing input to, advice, and know-how on enablement capability topics.
  • - Developer or practitioner developing, overseeing, improving, or delivering enablement services or offerings.
  • - Accelerator or advocate ensuring a focus on and advancement of capability area goals.
The Enablement Specialist will work within the capability team, as well as with networks and squads/project teams to determine the various roles the specialist can take on to support both project and foundational work.The role’s successful performance and contribution depend on the full embodiment and
demonstration of core mindsets and behaviors, including an entrepreneurial spirit, enterprise thinking, inclusive collaboration, and desire for continuous learning that underpin our culture and ways of
working.
Depending on the specific position requirements, individuals should be operating within one of the
below categories.Education
  • University degree, with business or life science degree preferred.
Experience
  • - 5+ years procurement, supply chain, or management consulting experience.
  • - Business level fluency in English as well as primary business language of the site(s) supported, if applicable.
  • - See appendix for sub-capability specifics.
