Job Summary:We are looking to add a Middle Front End Developer in Changsha, China within our EM Labs team.It is a great opportunity to work in a tech-driven company.   • Communication of Issues: disclose technical issues in a professional manner.
  • Data Confidentiality: maintain the confidentiality of company information.
  • Resource Management: utilize resources exclusively for the company's interests.
  • Regulation Adherence: comply with internal regulations, work procedures, and legal standards, including Occupational Health and Safety and Emergency guidelines, as per the occupied position evaluation. Development & Code Management
  • Development Discipline: meet task pre-established delivery deadlines, estimate development time accurately, and test the work done, across all necessary platforms to ensure the quality of implementation, to prevent reoccurrence of tasks and incidents in production.
  • Time Tracking and Documentation: accurately log all development work to ensure proper and exhaustive effort documentation, using official methods (JIRA).
  • Code quality: adhere to the internal coding standards and guides, promote clean code practices and actively participate in teaching more junior colleagues to adhere through code reviews and feedback.
  • Code review: actively involved in code reviews. Making sure that all internal and industry coding standards are followed, and that the submitter understands completely not only what to adapt but why the changes made are required.
  • Refactoring: identify opportunities for refactoring and improving the codebase's scalability, stability, and performance.
  • Scalability, stability, and performance: you implement improvements and can offer solutions / alternatives on how to develop the code to further improve scalability of the project.
  • Code documentation: ensure all code is documented, adhering to our coding standards and documentation practices. Maintain up-to-date documentation and comments within the codebase.
Operational
  • Operational: you can handle incidents according to the defined SLAs and project processes (the complexity refers to system/platform complexity, technical solution complexity or business knowledge).
  • Release Management and Deployment: responsible for executing product releases and deployments according to our established procedures and standards.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Communication: contributing to best practices knowledge sharing and application within the project; maintaining close collaboration with other team members as well as the responsible Product Owner/Project Manager; Participating in daily meetings with the team and discuss/identify both issues and solutions to resolve them; Collect, structure, and analyze information; ensure other team members have access to the collected information; provide assistance to testing and support teams in resolving any technical issues; knowledge about how to share knowledge in many forms: feedback, presentations, recommendation of books and articles, recommendation of events, lessons learned etc.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript / HTML / CSS.
  • Proven experience in creating fast performing interfaces using any FE frameworks.
  • Proven experience with REST web services and/or web APIs.
  • Basic knowledge of OOP and Data Access / Management.
  • Knowledge of OOP and Data Access / Management.
  • Passion for learning and perfecting skills.
  • Ability to work in a Kanban system with fast switching priorities.
  • Good English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with all stages of software development lifecycle.

Work Life Balance:
  • 40% work from home over any 3-month (can work one month per quarter abroad);
