Our team is hardworking, entrepreneurial, and passionate about helping families create millions, if not billions of tiny wins.SUMMARYBe responsible for maintaining the EHS management system, establishing audit programs, conducting inspections, training drills, and building culture. Optimize EHS to drive improvements towards goals and ensure compliance with government requirements as well as customer and internal policies and procedures of the company.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Establishes the EHS management system and internal and external audit for EHS matters, including ISO 45001&14001 and safety standardization.
  • To develop and optimize the EHS system and build up specific EHS policies, procedures, processes, and maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead EHS risk assessment for full plant operation regularly, evaluate the impact work together with department to establish the effective control actions, reduce EHS risk continuously.
  • Manage the external units entering the factory and strengthen the external operation process, contractor control is key point, including training, inspection and so on.
  • Organize and lead regular inspections walks to finding safety opportunities and take animation according to working scope.
  • Implement the investigation of EHS accidents and incident, track and follow all CPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) activities.
  • Implement high risk work management, including issue PTW, check and training.
  • Take PPE type identification and fit testing, check and PPE supervision as well.
  • Establishes policies, procedures, emission, and plans of environmental to meet local legal.
  • Hazardous waste management, including making waste plans, disposing waste etc.
  • Fulfill the obligation of all kinds of audits and system maintenance, such as NGO audit, customer, and the third-party audits from government and third party.
  • Implement emission permits, environmental monitoring, and occupational hazard monitoring.
  • Lead applicable EHS legal and regulation identification, make plan to keep operation compliance.
  • Daily works, such as occupational hazard factor declaration, loading data to environmental monitoring platform and hazards platform of government etc.
  • Regular review and update ERP, and plan emergency training and practice to Strengthen ER team skills.
  • Develop and implement training programs and three-tier training for all required elements of the EHS Management system and legal.
  • To hold any activities about EHS, such as safety month, globe safety day and so on.
  • Lead and support lean EHS to reduce risk, environmental impact, and cost.
  • Push and follow up rationalization proposal and hazards reporting from whole plant.
  • Coordinate with part-time safety team and to promote skills and push improvement.
  • Provide EHS support and consultant to other departments, Regular communication with internal business partners: share best practice, inform about actual site situation, track measures for improvement.
  • As interface with local safety and environment bureau or related department, other related affairs assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years EHS working experience in manufacturing or related industry.
  • Familiar with the process of safety and environmental management of manufacturing industry.
  • Familiar with professional knowledge of safety management including equipment protection, electrical safety, fire safety, chemical safety, special equipment safety, special operation safety and relevant national and local laws, regulations, and standards.
EDUCATION & SKILLS
  • Major in environmental safety management or engineering related. junior college above degree.
  • Good at training and presentation.
  • Advanced collaboration skills and strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff.
  • High passion for work, good teamwork spirit, and be able to work under pressure independently.
  • Strong trouble shooting ability and EHS practical ability.
  • Written and reading skills in English.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • None required. CSP is preferred.
COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Mastery of Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/PPT)
  • Digital skills and sense are preferred.
