- Execute seasonal design work streams as part of larger campaign projects; collaborate closely with design leadership, teammates and cross-functional partners.
- Translate brand priorities and sport moments into integrated seasonal activations that deliver physical, digital and hybrid experiences.
- Support a design process of clear ideation focusing on exploration of color, materiality, texture, spacing, proportion, scale and use of the environment.
- Collaborate with producers, design counterparts (both Global and Geo), internal partners (Sports Creative, Retail Brand, City Brand, Retail Production etc.) and external partners to ensure feasibility of designs and functional needs are met.
- Responsible for the execution of design and innovation across seasonal retail, live events, digital, and hybrid experiences.
- Develop presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts to all levels of leadership and partners.
- Constantly seek new and innovative ways to tell stories through graphics, styling, lighting, sculpture, photography, video, animation and more.
- Contribute to education and inspiration, sharing knowledge and exposure to current and future trends influencing the innovation of consumer experiences and technology.
- Collaborate with the team, lead small to medium-sized projects, and work with the lead designer to complete large projects and achieve the expected goals.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive, technically sophisticated design experience in space design, experiential design or brand design and a demonstrated ability to apply these skills in ways that elevate brand excellence.
- Bachelors/master’s degree in graphic design, architecture, industrial design, environmental design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Adept at applying and performing design skills including concepting, ideation, drawing/sketching, typography, color theory, texture, spatial design in scale, visual presentation development and space planning layouts.
- Strong knowledge of current trends in color, graphic design, art, photography, architecture and experience design — and their application to the sport industry. • Strong knowledge of production design, fabrication, materiality, and emerging manufacturing trends.
- Delivers high-quality design and experiential outputs with speed and accuracy. • Expanding expertise in the discipline, innovative mindset, and a high attention to detail.
- Works seamlessly with team members and external partners; contributes positively to team culture.
- Clearly presents and articulates ideas and design solutions in reviews.
- Proactively explores new ideas and methods, even within smaller work streams.
