- Drive business growth of our Scorecards & Analytical Services across the Greater China by identifying new opportunities and actively engaging in the sales process
- Deliver credit risk management services to clients including scorecard implementation, credit risk analysis, and risk advisory
- Engage directly with clients and provides credit analytical support and training to clients, working directly with risk managers and senior stakeholders to solve complex credit risk challenges
- Serve as a trusted advisor to top-tier financial institutions, offering technical expertise in credit risk analysis and industry best practices
- Lead product new developments and enhancements to address regional markets and regulatory needs
- Contribute to thought leadership and business development through market research, white paper, and industry presentations that position S&P Global Market Intelligence as the premier risk analytics partner
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience in Corporate or Infrastructure credit risk analysis (rating agency, large bank, investing institution) and/or financial risk advisory experiences (big consulting firms)
- Strong industry knowledge in banking risk management and regulatory frameworks (Basel III/IV, local regulatory requirements)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis and model development
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with clients across Greater China markets
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex credit risk projects for internal stakeholders or external clients, with robust project management skills including project scoping, timeline management, stakeholder communication, and effective coordination of internal and external counterparties
- Superior interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, and analytical abilities with proven problem-solving capabilities in complex risk management scenarios
- Strong customer service orientation and confidence in interacting with clients at all levels
- Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, or similar tools for advanced quantitative analysis
- Financial risk consulting experience, with demonstrated ability to work with diverse client portfolios and adapt solutions to varying organizational needs
- Knowledge of other relevant financial risk domains such as market risk, operational risk, liquidity risk, ESG, climate risk and their integration with credit risk frameworks
