By joining us now, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics—working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.This Position reports to: Global Procurement ManagerMain Mission:Global Component Engineer is responsible for the Cable harness components/projects assigned to implement respective strategies, be the key contact for internal/external stakeholders and take full account for the Cable Harness supply chain improvement and strategy deployment to ensure on corporate level of cost saving, resilience and business continuous success.Key Responsibilities:

Drive cable harness cost saving objectives, deliver continuous and sustainable spending reduction through components VAVE and introduction of local competitive supplier base.
Cooperate with global R&D, Quality, and sourcing team to develop, align and implement cable harness components’ sourcing strategies based on global market/technology trends
Manufacturer/distributor management/evaluation and performance monitoring
Manage and maintain global commodity database/system
Manage global commodity supply chain and stock level to ensure supply security
Document maintenance/global price control
Data analysis and component library management
Contract management including Framework, LOA, NDA etc.

Basic Requirements:

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Proven experience in cable harness industrial business area is a must: requested for mature understanding of manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and components’ supply base characteristics.
Knowledge of cable harness market, sourcing strategy and application
Knowledge of contractual and legal aspects
Good understanding of business practices and processes, market dynamics and trends
Good negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
International minded and can work in a global team
Fluent written and spoken English/Chinese
Excellent in office software incl. Excel, PPT, Power BI etc.
Ability to work independently in a virtual, remote environment, willingness to travel oversea
