Job Title:China Sales Leader - HealthcareSummary: The China Sales Leader will be responsible for developing and executing a regional sales and distribution strategy for the Healthcare Business in China. Focus on promoting, growing, & developing global key healthcare accounts. Responsible for assessing market needs identify new opportunities for healthcare segment in China and developing detailed business development plans. Lead new regional or global NPI Healthcare projects and align with regional marketing and R&D teams as well as other support functions needed to achieve the strategic Healthcare business goals. Create, communicate and execute regional business development strategy in alignment with global business development and marketing plans. Engage with marketing, R&D team and other support functions needed to achieve the regional business target. Introduce and champion new products and new value propositions to the market that will grow the healthcare segment. Accountable to help build relationships with key influencers and decision makers within strategic OEMs and key customers.Responsibilities Include:
Lead China sales team to achieve both short- and long-term business target
Responsible for developing and executing a regional sales and distribution strategy for the Healthcare business
Ensuring execution of the Sales & Operating Plan and removing roadblocks that may prevent adoption.
Drive Forecast Accuracy to ensure better planning and drive inventory control.
Work closely in conjunction with Product Management, Supply Chain & Marketing Teams to drive results via target product focus / NPI’s / strategic OEMs, and customers.
Effectively collecting market intelligence and feeding it back into Business leadership to drive strategic growth / price initiatives.
Utilize CRM platform: developing and rolling out key metrics, dashboards, and relevant data that will need to be collected to make full use of the platform. Visit reports, contacts, market Intelligence and other key data to be recorded.
Creating a Vision for the Sales and Customer Service teams that will drive our teams closer to providing a “Seamless Customer Interface”.
Providing and maintaining a distribution strategy for Healthcare Segment where appropriate that ensures our partners are properly trained and motivated to increase sales.
Travel (estimated 30%) to our customers, Healthcare OEMs, distributors, and other responsibilities will be required.
Qualifications:The following are required for the role
Strong cross-functional manager who can foster teamwork and drive accountability / results throughout the organization.
Self-directed and able to make difficult decisions quickly given the information/data available.
Problem solver who can understand the details, without micro-managing results. Must be able to identify and bring to a resolution complex business situation.
Proven ability to develop and execute on strategies generating positive results.
10 years of professional experience in Sales organization with at least 5 of those years managing a team.
Fluency in English is needed. Alternate language skills a large plus
B.S. degree
