- Performing proper repairs of all unserviceable equipment for which he/she has been trained or assigned to perform and acting also as a technical resource in analysis of failures when required.
- Performing proper tests, repairs and/or modifications on unserviceable equipment in compliance with Thales Aerospace Beijing Quality programs as well as relevant procedures issued by QA dept or the Operations Manager.
- Respecting the TAT target as given by the Operations Manager for all repair and/or modification activities
- Maintenance and calibration of test means or equipment whenever necessary with the support of engineering dept
- Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the product worked on with relevant technical documentation like SBs, SLs, TIs and updates of the CMM
- Attending refresher training as when necessary either locally or overseas.
- To generate a daily maximum of serviceable repairs and/or modification work through efficient screening of daily inputs and work in progress and ensuring the fast turnaround of less difficult repairs ; to maximize the use of available test/repair resources and repairing within the set standard times of the product.
- To acquire multi product repair skills through acceptance of working on a new product group whenever competency has been reached on an existing product group or by attachment to a senior technical specialist of another product group whenever feasible. To be able to start up any new repair capability after receiving training locally or overseas.
- Supervising and training junior technical specialist to improve on their skills or resolving difficult technical problems.
- Assist those whose product group workload is high or facing difficult repair failures.
- Sharing of product or troubleshooting knowledge with each other.
- Suggesting improvements to improve processes or test means.
- Practicing good house-keeping and fair sharing and maintenance of common use test/repair means and common areas.
- Thoroughly familiar with the applicable regulations and with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of the article on which maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations are being performed.
- To issue the ARC under the various airworthiness approvals for his/her own completed work and work of other technical specialist. He/she must also be able to meet all the requirements set in the QA policy for Approved Signatures.
- Diploma in Electronic Engineering & has relevant avionics qualification
- Good knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Digital/Analog electronics.
- Minimum 5 years experience above worked in Aviation Industry in maintenance of electronics or avionics products.
- Qualified 50% product repair capability within product group.
- Proficient in using the various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the article being inspected.
- Ability to work independently and strong analytical skill for complex problem solving;
- Flexible and ability to adapt quickly to changing environment.
- CCA Component Maintenance Personal License holder is highly prefer.
- Good command of English.
