The candidate with strong hands-on software development and AI skills, experienced within the wealth and investment engineering domain, will design and deliver high-quality solutions while working closely with cross-region, multi-language teams, coordinating across time zones and cultural contexts. The role requires effective communication, stakeholder alignment, and people skills, including mentoring engineers, facilitating collaboration, and supporting team growth. The candidate is also expected to contribute to resource planning and task allocation, balancing delivery priorities, technical quality, and team capacity to ensure sustainable execution.Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • At least 12+ years of experience in Micro service API development using the Java frameworks.
  • Experience on developing REST and SOAP API's.
  • Actively take responsibility for cross-team communication, workload and resource allocation, and mentoring engineers from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.
  • Strong administration and development skills using API Integration with in-house applications, third party vendor applications, including Trading Networks.
  • Hands on experience in docker based environment - including Kubernetes or OpenShift container platform.
  • See changes through to completion - discovery, coding, configuration, testing, documentation, review packaging and production deployment.
  • Ensure adherence and continuous improvement of Agile practices, coaches and teaches new techniques to the Team as needed to achieve optimum productivity.
  • Experience working with AI tools (Like Copilot) is preferred.
  • Experience working in a banking wealth domain is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Engaging and collaborating with a wide group of technology teams from upstream TP systems, integration, modelling team, data base administrators, messaging teams, architecture.
  • Knowledge of Postgres or Oracle relational databases is an advantage.

  • Candidate should have hands-on experience in Spring boot and API development.
  • Strong knowledge in Agile Development (exp in CI/CD/TDD/BDD, SCRUM, Kanban etc)
  • Min 12 years' experience Software development.
  • Experience with leveraging advanced features and tools in Atlassian software suite
  • Passion and flair for technology, at home with team-oriented, collaborative and consultative environment
  • Proven skills in co-ordination, staff management and leadership working with vendors and internal teams
  • Strong knowledge of risk and regulatory delivery
  • Knowledge of all aspects of software design and development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Should have a good analytical skill.
  • Ready to work on both development and project management.
  • Contribute to creation of standards & frameworks for the project
  • Should have the capability to handle more than one project at a same time.
  • Prepare architecting solutions document, technical audits for the project
  • Prepare High/Low level technical design document.
  • Learn and understand relevant application functional & technical architecture and use the same effectively during development
  • Follow documented SDLC life cycle as per quality management standards
  • Participate in Requirement gathering and solution meetings
  • Track overall development and project management
  • Support developers by providing technical assistance and improve technical competency levels amongst team members
  • Design modules based on technical specs.
  • Implement best practices
