Key Responsibilities:1. Responsible for designing the knitwear collection for this trend-led young women's collection2. Ensure the latest trends are executed commercially for fast moving trend conscious Chinese market3. Deliver seasonal product with a focus on style, fit, stitch, and desirable yarns4. Deliver product designs with flawless execution: achieving goals with speed, agility, and acute attention to details5. Constantly upgrade fabric, yarn, technique, fitting, and product to trend and market demand6. Produce detailed tech packs and liaise with buyers and suppliers confidently7. Work closely with the design manager and buyers throughout the design process, including product development, technical design, and production, to ensure the quality and timely delivery of the collection.Requirements:
1. Fashion design bachelor's degree or above, ideally specializing in Knitwear
2. Minimum 3-5 years of commercial women's knitwear design experience
3. Excellent knowledge of yarn, knit gauges, and structures, and good understanding of garment construction
4. Highly creative and trend-driven with a true connection to knitwear design
5. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle deadline pressure
6. Able to work on their own –take initiative and work as part of a team
7. Team player, good communication skills
8. Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
9. Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
10. Ability to relocate to Beijing, China
11. Have an open mindset and be willing to work with other cultures
