- Create and manage China’s Community Marketing calendar—ensuring it includes a balance of in-store events, strong partnerships, and in-community activations that drive traffic to retail stores, increases engagement both online and offline and drives sales across the retail channels
- Foster relationships in the China fitness community—establishing new and nurturing current relationships with fitness instructors, local gyms and studios, and like-minded brands to grow Vuori’s brand presence in China
- Plan, lead, and execute all key community events including ACTV Club IRLs, new store openings, pop-ups, and collaborative activations. Serve as the on-the-ground lead and brand representative at community and retail events.
- Build and manage all strategic partnerships and relationships as it relates to retail marketing and community, including but not limited to KOLs/KOCs, fitness instructors, local studios, and like-minded brands.
- Lead and track all product seeding for the community in China, including seeding for the V1 Community, V1 Leaders, partners, instructors, studios, and more to drive brand awareness and word of mouth marketing
- Manage local agency partners and vendors to ensure on-brand execution of events, marketing campaigns and activations
- Execute and oversee V1 Community and V1 Leader Program in China, ensuring it aligns with global strategy, KPIs and brand standards.
- Lead Vuori’s WeChat community mini program, ensuring all community events and recaps are accurately portrayed to the online community through messaging, imagery and promotions
- Work collaboratively with internal and external content teams to ensure Vuori community initiatives and activations are captured and distributed across Vuori’s digital and social marketing channels
- Partner with cross functional teams like the retail store teams, mall partners, the global team, and agencies to plan and execute retail activations, in-store promotions, in-store marketing moments, marketing collateral and more to enhance in-store experience
- Lead China retail marketing moments in store—organizing marketing collateral, signage, video moments, and more
- Maintain a pulse on China’s fitness, community, retail, and lifestyle trends to identify relevant opportunities for Vuori to reach new customers and activate in meaningful ways
- Serve as primary representative for all China-based community and retail marketing business needs to ensure smooth communication, alignment and execution in China for global team
- Lead all retail marketing a community reporting for the China marketing, sharing key insights and metrics on a monthly, quarterly, annually and when needed to global team
- Ensure China retail stores have tools, trainings, and guidance for all retail marketing and community needs
- Fluent in English and Chinese
- Willingness to frequently travel to events, fitness classes, retail locations and more
- At least 6 years of marketing, community building, and/or brand event experience
- Preferred candidates with existing relationship with local partners
- Preferred experience working with international brands in retail, lifestyle and fitness
- Enjoys attending a variety of fitness classes and connecting with peers
- Comfortable conversing with peers and customers about Vuori
- Flexible schedule to meet with Vuori team located on the US (time-zone differences), and attend community events in store and offsite
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively across teams
- Comfortable working in a fast pace and high growth environment
- Ability to multitask, coordinate deadlines and implement necessary feedback
