We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our online game platform team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the software lifecycle, ensuring the performance, reliability and scalability of our platform through automated testing. Your primary focus will be designing, developing, and executing load tests to identify potential performance issues, as well as automating testing processes to improve efficiency. This role requires a solid understanding of software testing principles, automation frameworks, and performance testing tools.What You Will Do
- Create and maintain JMeter test scripts to simulate real-world load and stress conditions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks and system inefficiencies.
- Work closely with software engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilize Java profiler tools to analyse performance and optimize system efficiency.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-geography teams to ensure product quality.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in performance testing and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in JMeter test script development and execution.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Java profiler tools for performance analysis.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of J2EE, Tomcat, Unix, VMware, SQL, and Kafka.
- Background in Java software development and engineering.
- Experience in developing and executing automated test cases.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Ability to write automated tests using programming languages like Python or Java.
