We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Commercial Director with exceptional leadership qualities to take responsibility for our FOB (all global regions and countries excluded Europe). This role is pivotal in launching and business operations with a focus on non-EU markets, creating & overseeing the successful execution of our business strategy with SMART objectives.
  • Develop and execute an effective short and long term business strategy for the FOB markets to achieve global targets .
  • Provide strategic advice, analysis and insights to the leadership team, emphasizing the unique challenges and opportunities in the FOB markets.
  • Lead market development activities and sales strategies to boost presence and performance in your region together with your local teams.
  • Launch new products with excellence.
  • Manage and build a core team, setting clear objectives and performance indicators to ensure growth and efficiency.
  • Foster innovation and operational excellence to maintain competitive edge. * Create a positive can-do attitude that transforms the team spirit and passion for winning.
  • Research and analyze industry, market and competitors to make informed strategic decisions regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and product development ideas.
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director and the (local) sales team on their approach to win new business.

  • 10+ years of experience in a Commercial Director role in FOB markets, with at least 5 years in China and South-East Asia.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic and business plans.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, also within Chinese culture.
  • Proven track record of motivating, building and successful teams.
  • Innovative problem-solver, capable of thinking outside the box and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Multilingual with excellent level of English language skills and willing to travel internationally to meet business needs.
