- Develop and execute an effective short and long term business strategy for the FOB markets to achieve global targets .
- Provide strategic advice, analysis and insights to the leadership team, emphasizing the unique challenges and opportunities in the FOB markets.
- Lead market development activities and sales strategies to boost presence and performance in your region together with your local teams.

- Manage and build a core team, setting clear objectives and performance indicators to ensure growth and efficiency.

- Research and analyze industry, market and competitors to make informed strategic decisions regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and product development ideas.
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions.
- Work closely with the Sales Director and the (local) sales team on their approach to win new business.
- 10+ years of experience in a Commercial Director role in FOB markets, with at least 5 years in China and South-East Asia.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic and business plans.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, also within Chinese culture.
- Proven track record of motivating, building and successful teams.
- Innovative problem-solver, capable of thinking outside the box and remaining calm under pressure.
- Multilingual with excellent level of English language skills and willing to travel internationally to meet business needs.
