We are seeking versatile engineers who are passionate about what they do and are committed to making a difference in the world through their inventions.As part of NVIDIA Silicon Solutions Group, we are responsible for productizing NVIDIA's chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions.As a member of this team, you are responsible for developing and validating silicon system level features with a deep understanding of products needs that will get delivered to across our various businesses.What You'll Be Doing:Develop High Speed IO feature to address existing and new product opportunities/requirements.Lead technical return-on-investment investigations, use case analysis, prototype, develop High Speed IO methodology/flow for new silicon bringup and participate in bring-up enablement for new feature/design.Research new industrial High Speed IO spec for next generation GPU, CPU and SOC to optimize system level performance and power features, development, and transcend product goals.Work closely and proactively with other engineering teams such as system architects, chip and board designers, software/firmware engineers, HW/SW QA teams and Applications engineering teams to develop methodologies to optimize HW/SW performance and power management, drive design, development, debug and release of next generations products.Drive new feature/spec debug from HW side and provide creative solution to deliver the feature into productization to achieve high product quality at aggressive schedule.What We Need To See:BS or MS degree in EE/CE or equivalent experience5+ years of experience with ASIC design, development, validation, debug in High Speed IO.Strong understanding on protocol spec for PCIE, CXL, UCIE, USB, MGBE, UFS, DDR etc.Experiences on High Speed IO Power management and performance/power optimization, validation etc.Strong EE fundamentals, knowledgeable in digital design, computer architecture, power analysis, timing analysis, fault analysis, sampling, statistics, and scripting.Excellent verbal communication and written, presentation skills.Deep understanding of firmware/driver structures and their interaction with HW.Working knowledge of PVT dependencies and binning methodologies.Experience with Python, C/C++, tool and script development, Windows and Linux OS is a plus.Effective in a collaborative environment.With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
