The European Chamber is a member-driven organisation. With over 25 working groups and forums, the Chamber represents almost all European industries operating in China. Members are key to the Chamber's reputation as the Voice of European Business in China.The European Chamber's Membership and Events Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating / managing the activities and services for the Chamber's Beijing Chapter Events and Membership Team. This role will coordinate membership activities in membership renewal and communications, and support the event activities in event planning and execution.Reporting line: National Membership Manager & Senior Events Manager and Events Manager in Beijing.Key Responsibilities:Membership Responsibilities:ž Manage the membership renewal campaign for Beijing Chapterž Update membership details and users accounts upon members' requestsž Support in member receptions/Advisory Council events executionž Maintain membership relations and respond to members' requests received on a timely basisž Manage administration related to membership including processing PO, filling in vendor forms, issuing invoices and drafting contracts/agreementsEvent Responsibilities:ž Support in developing and implementing Beijing conferences and eventsž Support research, planning and administrative duties prior to eventsž Support communication with members and speakers in relation to eventsž Maintain event backend database up to date and draft content for digital channelsž Support the preparation of event information for internal reporting and other presentationsž Make the RSVPs list for each event based on membership status and do the event registrationž Upload attendees list and speakers' slides, issue invoices and draft event recapsSkills & experience· Native Mandarin speaker with outstanding English speaking and writing skills.
