This position is based in Beijing, China, while being part of the team in Denmark. You will receive training through short stays in Denmark and ongoing remote collaboration with your manager and colleagues via daily or weekly interactions.The primary focus of this position is to strengthen collaboration with local sales and production teams, maintain our leadership in probiotics for the supplement and special nutrition industries, and expand our presence in pro-, pre-, and postbiotic solutions.In this role you’ll make an impact by:· Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Danish scientists, technicians, and China sales/commercial teams to execute projects, support sales and marketing strategies, share knowledge, and provide technical support to Chinese customers. Participate in customer meetings with Chinese customers when specific technical inputs is needed.· Customer Projects: Be part of customer projects with local project manager contribute to product development for the Chinese market, and deliver technical reports for customers.· Product Development: Develop and optimize dietary supplements for the Chinese market, focusing on solid dosage forms, conducting formulations in labs or at CMOs, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and evaluating product stability.· Production and Implementation: Upscale new dietary supplement products with CMOs and implement them in NVS systems, plan, coordinate, and report laboratory experiments conducted locally or in the Danish lab.· Cross-Functional Projects: Participate in cross-organizational projects to enhance innovation and efficiency.To succeed you must hold:· Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.· Preferably a few years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Formulation development of dietary supplements, pharmaceutical oils, liquids, or powder products; Product characterization and stability analysis; Knowledge of dietary supplement ingredients, fermentation, freeze-drying, or product development.· Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.· Strong personal drive, self-motivation, and energy, with a passion for teamwork.· A global outlook and ability to work in a dynamic, ambitious, and international environment.· Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.· Ability to execute tasks effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.Our purpose guides the wayIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
