- Support the development of the category FTW across GCA inline with Global direction and local needs. Be the category and consumer expert across GCA.
- Define the category range within guidelines by Global BU, incl. inline, promo, SMU, Local Creation
- support the creation of the category Marketing Calendar and the GTM plan by key concept in collaboration with GCA Brand Comms.
- Support Category Director in communication with Global BU for GCA category FTW (business opportunities, commercial input process, SMU's, KA SMU's etc..)
- Key contact to GCA OMB team on category FTW specific topics
- Secure the business through relentless analysis of the Top Sellers by channel, gender, product type, concept on a monthly basis and ensure like for like product is in every range plan
- Responsible for the business success of the category FTW incl. setting forecasts, prices, size range, RID and ABOs
- Category FTW analysis including sell-thru, forecasting, pricing corridor compliance, etc.
- Key contact to GCA OMB teams for FTW assortment planning, etc…as well as sales teams
- Play a supporting role in seasonal brand and channel handover milestones to ensure strategy and product is fully understood
- Effectively managing cross-functional working relationships with other marketing teams on vision, strategic objectives/ actions and financial targets as defined by Global.
- Work with Category Director, BA and channels to provide input to global for the market specific requirements and market feedback around range architecture and allocation needs

- Advanced category management knowledge and Market experience in sport and/or fashion/lifestyle categories (sporting goods / kids industry preferred)
- Consumer-focused with deep product and range understanding and the ability to balance Brand and Commercial priorities to build channel- and consumer-specific activation plans that meet KPI targets
- Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
- Experience in both market and country/cluster organization preferred
- University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing
- 5-8 years of category management and/or sales, marketing experience
- Fluent in English
- Sporting goods industry experience required
- Fluent in local language (if applicable) preferred
