This will include the integration of high-speed Silicon Photonics (PIC), with reflowable optical connector, multi-channel FAU, . He will need to work with internal and external PIC suppliers to ensure the final CPO and Light Engine product meets performance specifications, and bring products from concept to production with good yield and reliability.Primary Duties & Responsibilities1. As a core members of design team, Candidate should be responsible for optical modeling and parameters optimizing, simulate and calculate the related optical tolerances as the guideline to other design aspects.
2. Communicate with suppliers and CM/SDE to build components, reply the feedback and DFM from them. Candidate should have a prospective view of advance technologies and initiatively have the sense to develop the most suitable technical route for project needs.
3. Coordinate with internal team include Process, Testing, Automation to review and response to their DFM items, optimize design and establish appropriate assembly and test workflow. Candidate should have good experience to make the high manufacturability design to have good projected production yield.
4. Responsible or support the failure analysis on the components and final products from optical aspect of view. Candidate should have a wide range of technical knowledge; not only within job function, but in other fields which can be used to solve problems.
5. Analyze and summarize the data; generate and report the progress by technical summary in time; and rarely need the guidance or modification from higher managers .

 >3 years working experience for master's degree
 Good knowledge and experience of optical modeling and simulation for communication systems.
 Profound understanding of active components including high-speed laser and photodiode is preferred.
 Working experience in Optical communication industry are preferred.Skills & Other Requirements Capable of expressing in English with accuracy and efficiency, for both written and oral.
 Proficiency with optics ray tracing software such as Zemax.
