We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced regional product manager to join our team in Shanghai, China, focusing on special tools in the automotive aftermarket. This position requires frequent business trips throughout the entire China region. Successful candidates will play an important role in developing comprehensive solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and independent aftermarket (IAM) customers, focusing on electric vehicle (EV) technology, driving the development of innovative special tools, and leading business development in the rapidly growing automotive aftermarket.Job Overview: As the Product Manager of special tools for the China region, reporting to the Global Product Manager, you will play an important role in aligning regional strategies with global goals. Your responsibility includes developing and executing strategic plans to maximize the performance of Bosch special tools in sales, profitability, and market share. You will lead the optimization of solutions for OEM customers, expand the product line of IAM customers, and drive the development of innovative special tools for traditional and electric vehicle applications. In addition, this position also involves actively participating in shaping new business models in the automotive industry.Job Responsibility1. Comprehensive solution development:o Develop product roadmap, pricing strategy, business plan, and product plan.o Prepare product requirement documents for all new products, including market specifications and financial justification.o Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM): Plan product introduction/elimination and replacement strategies.o Collaborate with other functions of the product development team to ensure that all considered products meet quality standards and meet the schedule for new product development.o OEM focus: Manage and optimize special tools for OEM customers to ensure comprehensive solutions for the original automotive equipment market.o IAM Expansion: Leading the expansion of special tool solutions for IAM customers, timely responding to market demand and industry trends.o EV technology: Promote the development of innovative special tools customized for electric vehicles, reflecting Bosch's commitment to cutting-edge technology.2. Strategic planning:o Consistency: Collaborate with global product managers to ensure that the regional strategies of OEM and IAM are aligned with global goals.o Market Expansion: Implement a strategic plan to expand Bosch's presence in the OEM and IAM markets in China.o EV business development: Leading the business development in the electric vehicle field, seeking opportunities for growth and market penetration.3. Relationship management:o OEM Partnership: Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners throughout China.o IAM involvement: Establish and maintain relationships with IAM customers, including distributors, retailers, and automotive service centers.o Collaboration in the EV industry: Promote partnerships with the electric vehicle industry and enhance Bosch's position in this rapidly developing market.4. Innovative special tool development:o Technology leadership: Drive the development of innovative special tools to ensure they meet the unique requirements of traditional and electric vehicle applications. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify new Bosch technology introductions based on specific market demands and/or new vehicle technologies, including electric vehicles and fuel cell technologies.5. Development of new business models:o Market trends: Keep up with the market trends in the OEM and IAM fields, as well as the electric vehicle industry, and contribute to the development of new business models.o Identify and supplement opportunities for collaboration with third-party products to expand the company's product line.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or above, with a professional background related to automotive engineering, marketing, business management, and other related fields preferred.
  • More than five years of experience in product management or related fields in the automotive aftermarket, with priority given to those with experience in EV related special tools.
  • Good English communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with global teams.
  • Excellent project management and team collaboration skills, able to coordinate and cooperate in cross departmental and cross-cultural environments.
  • Having profound market insights and business sensitivity, able to formulate and execute successful market strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to make wise decisions based on data.
  • Have innovative awareness and sensitivity to the development trends of the automotive industry.
  • Have certain management experience and team leadership skills
  • Travel Frequency: National travel with high frequency
