This position must be familiar with product management processes and be capable to cooperate with all function partners including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance and Sales inside DND.What your background should look like:What you will be doing:
As a PM Operations Manager, the main responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Internal execution for excellence.
- Drive continuous margin protection & expansion via cost improvement actions.
- Link existing business insights to NPI projects for cost improvement.
- Lead and resolve critical issues with functional partners to drive results.
- Short-term: Solve current PM organization's No.1 pain point: PN setup and extension. Take full responsibilities and ownership of the completion of PN setup/extension in system to ensure customer orders could be processed within expected timeframe.
- Start from identified adoption equence to establish the best practice and sustainable process then roll out to the entire AI, Cloud and Enterprise PM team.
- Mid-term: Collaborate with internal function partners as an internal-facing product manager and drive sustainable operating advantages for assigned product families.
- Drive VA/VE cost and/or part selection process standardization.
- Develop a play book for cost structure by product groups.
- Analyze, and leverage price / cost insights collect from NPI phases, market and competition to anticipate cost trend and expectations.
- Continue to drive cost optimization for existing business.
- Partner and collaborate with Operations to develop cost structure playbooks by product families that could guide cost targets.
- Continue Global Cost Model (GCM) tracking initiative to accumulate reliable data points for insights generation and model by product groups.
- Setup competitive cost target for NPI projects based on the learnings from existing business.
- Link the insights learned from existing business to NPI practices for effectiveness.
- Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate with internal function partners (including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance) and time zones.

- Proven records of ownership and business judgement that aligns with product strategy / business priorities.
- Proven records of refining the processes and implementing improvements.
- Proven records of driving cost down activities for margin protection.
- Proven Proficiency in collaboration with plants (Chinese / English).
- Previous experience in Product Management, Project Management or Manufacturing Management preferred.
