The main aim of the job is to contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of Exams in Southwest China with primary focus on Post-test Administration. The role will also manage the safe handling of confidential materials in accordance with compliance standards.Accountabilities:
Execution of IELTS administration work
- Be repsonble for post-test administrative operational activities including liaision with Test Centre Team, Test Day Personnel Team and Examiner Administration Team for post-test processing of each test session, data transmission among various administrative systems. Ensure all the activities are coordinated, completed within agreed deadlines and their outputs are accurate and effective.
- Participate in process re-engineering and optimisation projects and implement IELTS related policies, procedures and projects as per the latest business, policy or procedure changes. Ensure all post-test administration operations are efficient, up to global standdards, and consistently high level service is offered to all IELTS candidates.
- Manage confidential material movement and carry out routine monitoring and regular quality checks.
- Participate in national stock-management optimization and contribute to stock control strategy development.
- Purchase exams related materials and stationary in compliance with corporate procurement poliicy and prodedures. A sufficient supply of exams stationary is maintained to meet operational needs.
- Daily management and maintenance of IELTS test centre inventory. Prompt action is taken to address broken or misfunctioning inventory items so that daily operation is not adversely affected.
- Ensure all duties are delivered in line with the British Council's policies on Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and these are mainstreamed into exams operation.
- Manage information created and received in compliance with the British Council's information management standards, policies, the UK data protection principles and local legislation.
- Relevant work experience
- Demonstrable experience of administration that requires a high level of attention to details and accuracy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or relevant experience)
- Language: English B2 (Aptis, IELTS 6 or equivalent)
