Financial Controller - Global Manufacturing MNCResponsible for Dongguan site finance managementManagementCoordinate the development, implementation, maintenance, and revision of Accounting policies and procedures, financial systems, reports and business models.Develop and maintain a well-documented system of accounting policies and procedures.Support Global Treasury Team to effectively manage cash flows.Support Factory efforts to manage and reconcile daily business results and manufacturing variances.Support Global Supply Chain and Finance in establishing and executing business strategies and business processes.Build and manage the team to ensure proper and timely completion of responsibilities.Ensure effective cross-training and succession planning.Reporting & AnalysisProvide Monthly Financial Reporting to Corporate Accounting & Finance, including relevant analysis to support the consolidation and reporting of financial information.Provide Forecast changes and insights in the business that may affect financial performance or cash needs.Analyze profitability and make recommendations to drive both gross margin and net income enhancement.Local Responsibilities:Banking & Cash ManagementReview the daily cash reconciliation including individual expense reports and business banking fees.Ensure availability of funds and manage payables accordingly.Prepare the weekly cash forecast with working capital requirements.General Ledger & ControlsEstablish and maintain a system of policies and procedures to ensure and effective accounting and control environment that is also business enhancing.Oversee all Accounting, General Ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with Company standards and regulatory requirements.Manage the monthly financial close process, the preparation of all financial statements and reports and the maintenance of reliable databases from which effective business decisions can be made.Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory reporting and processes to ensure timely and reliable processing and reconciliation.Maintain or develop a well-controlled accounting process - ensuring that assets are safeguarded, and accounts are reconciled monthly.Oversee Physical Inventory and valuation process and ensure related reserves are adequately stated.Maintain documentation and complete analysis to support drivers of manufacturing variances.Ensure that intercompany invoicing is completed timely and submitted to appropriate region promptly.Internal & External CooperationUnderstand, implement and ensure compliance to Company internal controls.Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.Demonstrate an ability to prioritize work and be attentive to detail.Communicate clearly and effectively with individuals and groups when writing, speaking, and listening.Demonstrate active participation in meetings.ComplianceCoordinate Annual Financial and Regulatory Audits.Work with the Global Accounting to assess risks to the organization and make recommendations, as needed to improve policies, control and reporting.Financial Controller - Global Manufacturing MNC |Responsible for Dongguan site finance managementRequired languages: Cantonese, Mandarin and English.An accepted accounting designation is preferred (e.g., Chartered Accountant).A minimum of 8-10 years' of Accounting experience with a minimum of three years' experience in management or controller role.Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.Strong systems knowledge and skills including: accounting/ERP systems and ideally MS Dynamics Navision.Strong skills with the MS Office Suite are required.Strong experience in all aspects of relationship management.Strong written and verbal skills.Financial Controller - Global Manufacturing MNCStable growing business worldwide and management upgradingStable growing business and platfromOpen and diversified working environmentCompetitive salary and benefits
