Shangri-La Putian 莆田香格里拉Shangri-La Putian is located beside the newly-built Shouxi park, Uniquely positioned at the juncture of history and modernity, it will pay tribute to the river town's ancient heritage as well as harmony between man and nature. It has 260 well-appointed smart rooms offering panoramic views of the city and Yanshou river. The hotel will include a lobby lounge, restaurants, SPA, fitness centre, swimming pool, large adventure zone, the only Janpanese Onsen hot spring in Fujian and a 1,200-square-metre ballroom. Next to the hotel will be a lively mix of restaurants, bars and retail shops set in a 3,500-square-metre village-style plaza at phase II project. The hotel is conveniently located within a 25-minute drive from the train station.We are hiring a Service Manager - L&D.
As aService Manager - L&D, we rely on you to:
  • Assesses training needs based on Performance Monitor Report, Performance Development Reviews, employee feedback, guest comments, business result, observation, among others.
  • Develops annual training plan for general skills, knowledge, languages, and areas for improvement based on the result of training need analysis and revise when needed. Conduct training sessions with qualified training skills and coaching skills.
  • Assists in identifying training needs for each department. And review monthly departmental training plan.
  • Maintains effective internal communication with Dept. Heads.
  • Support hotel audits with essential training records and follow company policy as well as local authority guideline in training related area.
  • Assists the DHR in administering HR policies and procedures, promoting company culture and creating a learning environment, and assisting all other HR related activities and programs.
  • Practices and role-models the Shangri-La Culture.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has a passion for Human Resources.
  • Possesses relevant experience in a luxury hotel.
  • With excellent speech and coaching skills.
  • With good communication and people management skills.
  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English.
  • Have strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
  • Enjoys interacting with people.
