- Present and discuss the total solutions and benefits and provide technical support at early stage of sales process to drive funnels and order.
- Gain critical insight on customer biotech/biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and formulate strategies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customers’ needs and expectations and simultaneously expand Biotech’s business by gaining market share in existing and new accounts.
- Assist commercial team in identifying customer opportunities, needs, determine technical feasibility of custom technical requests and process optimization opportunities.
- Report and communicate all business opportunities, solution concepts and strategies to management through the use of CRM, and provide voice of customer and applications feedback to product development teams.
- Establish strong relationships with clients—including executive level, project champions, and key end-users.
- Track and communicate market trends and develop effective counterstrategies.
- Deliver training for internal team to align all segment strategy and selling tools. Work with marketing team to deliver presentation in the market to enhance our segment branding.
- Master and/or Bachelor Degree in biological science/biochemistry/biochemical engineering or general life science/engineering or relevant field. PhD a plus
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience required, with 3+ years of biotech technologies in similar industry.
- 3+ years selling relevant life science or related technologies with an expert understanding of the biotech/biopharmaceutical manufacturing process flow.
- Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions based sales approach
- Strong presentation skills and Able to travel.
- Manufacture experience at clinical stage or commercial scale of biopharma.
