We are committed to working closely with the Chinese regulators and partners to foster a robust industry eco-system and supporting China to further grow its influence in the global financial market.About your roleAs a member of the AMC trading desk, you will be responsible for transacting in securities on behalf of Fidelity’s onshore fund managers. This will require you to have a strong ability to communicate news and views to a broad and diverse team of investors and develop an understanding of their respective objectives and requirements. You will be expected to manage all your activities with utmost care and attention, applying market-leading trading skills and standards, and understanding the impact of your actions on all of Fidelity’s funds and our reputation as a market participant and as an asset manager. As a trader, you will be a highly valued core member of the investment team and actively engaged with portfolio managers and analysts on an ongoing basis, including discussing credit trends, liquidity conditions or market dynamics, and ultimately influencing investment decisions.About youYour responsibilities and required experience are:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day transactions for onshore fund managers
  • Being able to demonstrate best execution process through all market conditions
  • Ability to filter and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information in a timely manner
  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with market participants
  • Able to articulate pre and post trade workflows and post trade analysis
  • Knowledge of A-share market and onshore derivates would be a plus and have capabilities to cover A-share equities trading when required
  • Other work that requires the cooperation of the traders
Experience and Qualifications Required
  • CIBM licensed required, AMAC license required or have the ability to obtain AMAC license before joining
  • Knowledge and experience with onshore Fixed Income Markets, preferably 2~3 years of trading experience
  • Solid relationship with onshore counterparties
  • Ability to prioritize and manage own workload effectively in a busy environment and to deadlines
  • Fast learner, strong attention to detail, great communication skill
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin; English would be a plus
  • Finance, business, economic or mathematical degree discipline would be advantageous
