Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. Central Engineering is KLA's largest engineering organization comprised of 9 Centers-of-Excellence (CoE) in various disciplines applied across all product groups in the company. These CoE include Handling & Automation, Precision Motion Control, Sensors & Image Acquisition, Platform Design, and Packaging Engineering, among others. These differentiate KLA not only in WHAT we do, but also in HOW we do it.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsJob description:Responsible for design of sub system, opto-mechanical systems, precision mechanisms, and tooling for manufacture and service.Responsible for complete design process, including requirements specification, feasibility studies, analysis and FEA modeling, conceptual and detailed design using CAD tooling, detail drawings, procurement of prototype parts, prototype testing, system integration, and handoff to manufacturing。Generate documentation (BOM, ECO, assembly drawings) required to release the design to manufacturing.Hands on support product system/subsystem installation and assembly. Supporting system engineer and Sr. mechanical engineer for product design release.Responsible for identifying and qualifying KT local suppliers, closely work with supplier and vendor to deliver high quality parts on time.Preferred qualifications:Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in mechanical engineering or related field, Proficient with solid modeling tools (Pro/E, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc), engineering analysis tools and FEA tools.Strong English written and verbal communications skills.Well time management skill, self-motivated, self-directed and team work.Solid background in the areas of motion control and structural vibration/dynamics analysis will be a plus.Experience in generating documentation (BOM, ECO, assembly drawings) for product release will be a plusMinimum QualificationsMaster's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 yearsWe offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package.
