- Investigate performance issues in OpenGL/Vulkan applications and develop driver optimizations to unleash the full potential of GPU hardware
- Identify GPU HW performance issues and contribute to future GPU improvements
- Debug quality and performance issues on Windows or Linux platforms
- Strong C/C++ and object-oriented experience in Windows and Linux environments
- Understanding of graphics APIs such as DX12 or OpenGL or Vulkan
- Research or project experience in hardware performance, with clear understanding of GPU hardware performance architecture such as regarding GPU execution model, threads, waves, SIMD, registers, cache, cost/performance trade-off, etc.
- Experience with debugging and performance tools such as Microsoft PIX, RenderDoc, VTune, or AMD’s Radeon Developer Tool Suite
- Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, Operating Systems concepts, and multithreaded programming
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
