Position SummaryA Content Analyst is responsible for maintenance of database administration and sourcing of the Financial Markets exchange and contributed data. Support colleagues and own contributor relationship between the company and the local exchange, contributor, or data supplier for day-to-day operations. Responsible for ensuring that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:Validate the accuracy of data received from various sources. Ensure that this information is stored in LSEG databases and is accurately reflected on products.Ensure the quality and time-efficient production of financial information for LSEG productsSupervise and research market events to anticipate changes.Assist the team and senior colleagues in performing quality checks and measures to maintain high-quality content.Proactively research and identify corporate actions events (or) ways to improve coverage of the same.Provide outstanding customer serviceTo plan and fulfill data enhancements and quality improvement project activitiesTo provide Root Cause Analysis for Data Corrected Cases and identify robust solutions.Provide support in identifying and developing new measurements where a need or requirement exists.Processes data in an accurate and timely manner using the knowledge of the tools and financial markets​Uses the approved sources to identify the data, convert / make valuable contributions to the data, or use the data as is defined in the collection policyCommunicates and works with internal and external teams as required to support the accurate sourcing and collection of dataAdheres to the quality metrics and prioritises activities to support business and customer requirementsSupports specific projects assigned and meets or exceeds the KPIs definedSuggests process improvement ideas to improve efficiency and enhance customer experience.COMPETENCIESUniversity education or equivalent experience pre-requisiteEnglish is mandatory, Korean or Japanese is preferable due to the customer base thish role will supportProficiency in English (CET-6) and ChineseKnowledge or experience of financial markets or accounting principles a distinct advantageCORE SKILLSWillingness to take absolute responsibility for work tasksAbility to prioritize tasks and ability to perform under pressureAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamSelf motivated even when attending to routine taskInnovative and analytical towards processes and working environmentAdherence to company best practices and standardsStrong team spirit and interpersonal skillsLSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
