- Leading role for all odor related topics, strategic communication of odors topics and odor relevant developments with RD/FZ, RD China, BBAC and GCSP.
- File technical reports (for Management, GCSP and L/GL) regarding WL and PL cases. Provide reports to be used for litigation (focusing but not limited to odor cases). Coordinate with regional offices (RO), inhouse legal, law firms, PR, business units (BU) on WL and PL matters. Hold training and seminars for CO, RO, and workshop staff members regarding odor related issues. Travel weekly to conduct and/or support inspections; support settlement negotiations on site; support to technical team and PL/PS team members and as well as other jobs assign by supervisor.
- Management of assigned cases through information, coordination and communication. Allocation and delegation of tasks and responsibilities. Provide regular performance feedback. Define and agree on qualification and development measures. Initiate and maintain a team oriented working environment.
- Share knowledge and develop internal investigation standards further, develop training program/seminars for CO, RO and related WS personnel.
- Vehicle inspections and document investigation results, travel for customer negotiations and hold training/seminars on site.
- University qualified and strong vehicle knowledge.Experience
- At least 5 years of working experience in automotive industry, either Mercedes-Benz or another foreign OEM.
- Needs to have strong management and Leadership skills and/or potential, a proven track record of strong capabilities to lead cross-functional and multicultural teams as well as good negotiation skill which are essential.
- Customer and Market Orientated attitude. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure; could travel frequently
- Strong technical MB product knowledge; retail/wholesale operation is a plusSkills and Knowledge
- Being fluent in written and spoken English is mandatory

- Experience of project management
- Vehicle Fire- and Accident investigation experience
