The Lead UI / UX Designer leads the discipline pod and owns interface quality, usability standards, and player experience across multiple projects and genres. This role combines hands-on design leadership with mentorship, quality oversight, and cross-discipline collaboration.Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a pod of UI/UX designers across projects
  • Define and maintain UI/UX standards, workflows, and best practices
  • Review and approve UI/UX designs for quality and usability
  • Collaborate with other department leads
  • Communicate UI/UX intent clearly to internal teams and clients
  • Ensure accessibility, readability, and scalability across projects
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and handoff processes
Qualifications:
  • Experience leading or mentoring UI/UX designers
  • Deep understanding of game UI/UX across multiple genres
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Experience working in co-development or multi-project environments
  • Ability to balance creative quality with production constraints
  • Proficient knowledge of industry-standard UI/UX design tools
  • Familiarity with collaborations and handoff tools used in game development pipelines
