In order to manage the manufacturing of the LEGO boxes and supply in the right quality, quantity and cost with the right timing, it is necessary to encourage employees to take overall responsibility in managing and coordinating with other relevant departments to fulfill the operations’ needs according to LEGO’s operating model.Core Responsibilities

Prepacking
Final packing
Maintenance
Manual warehouse
Be a member of JIA manufacturing leadership team and contribute towards smooth/effective functioning of JIA manufacturing through collaboration with other departments.
Effectively drive the Packing team in producing the finished goods according to the plan which meet the quality and cost requirements.
Drive the performance KPIs to deliver productivity improvements.
Build the team’s capacity and capability to meet the short- and long-term demands with clear objectives.
Manage packing leadership team by providing feedback, coaching, clear meeting structure and proper training.
Be the role model in demonstrating Leadership and embracing LEGO DNA by leverage “leadership playground” philosophy.
Bridge between global and local culture by applying company processes with local context.
Be the key player in global packing wheel (organization) to drive packing standardization, capacity, capability and performance improvements.
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical and industrial engineering or equivalent Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in engineering and production (automation & digitalization) environment with good supply chain and consumer product and manufacturing understanding.
Minimum 5 years managerial experience.
Have experience in managing engineering or production team in group of 200-500 employees.
Nice to have
Experience working with Packing & packaging production, maintenance, engineering and manual warehouse.
Have good continuous improvement mindset
Result oriented, strategic thinking, self-driven and motivated
Good command in English and Mandarin (written and oral)
