You can be a major part of this journey.Be part of a successful teamAs a Global Materials Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. You will work with other teams to translate the demand signal (S&OP forecasts, sales orders, and planned orders) to physical orders. You will ensure adequate, timely supply of materials to the production process.As a Global Materials Planner, you will be responsible for:· Establishing planning and delivery processes at global level for key commodities· Ensuring planning and delivery processes are being implemented correctly and aligned to the Global strategy· Working with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plan into physical orders· Working with the region sales and operations to create the regional forecast (12-18 months) and global forecasts· Prioritizing the orders to meet the business goals. Ensuring orders are appropriately maintained in SAP.· Executing the product line order strategies (allocations) relative to regions and manufacturing plants, considering global strategy and plants capacity· Providing overall planning and delivery guidance for orders. Managing and processing order exceptions. Communicating between Product Line/ Sales/Service Delivery.· Planning deliveries such that inventory costs are minimized while maintaining customer commitmentsFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:· Have a Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience (7+ years’ experience)· Have experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management· Have an advanced working knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality· Demonstrate an ability to communicate professionally at all levels, lead meetings and collaborate with internal stakeholders· Be a good team player, enjoy collaborating and solving problems with others· Be excited by and demonstrate an ability to learn new processes and applications· Have Ability to work with and influence stakeholders and have strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgencyWork in a way that works for youWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
